Our Mission & Vision
We exist to help people find their identity and purpose in Christ.
We want to see people's hearts revived by the love of Jesus, their lives transformed by His grace and our city awakened to the plans God has for it.

Our Story
Vineyard Church Southern Indiana was born out of a desire to build a church in New Albany where everyone feels at home—a space that feels more like a living room than an auditorium.
Co-Senior Pastors Brian and Alex Hassett bring a rich history of worship, creative leadership, and church planting. After years of ministry and team-building, God called them to lead this local church family into a new season of growth, authentic community, and Spirit-led renewal.
What started as a dream is now a vibrant church made up of young families, longtime followers of Jesus, and people who are just beginning to explore faith. We’re still growing, still learning, and still pursuing God’s presence—together.

Meet Our Pastors
Brian & Alex Hassett serve as Co-Senior Pastors, leading together in an egalitarian partnership that reflects their shared calling and unique strengths.
Married since 2012, they’ve been in ministry together from the start—serving as worship pastors, helping plant churches, and bringing creative renewal to established ones. They’re passionate about seeing people step into their God-given purpose, and they lead with a heart to encourage, equip, and empower others.
They have two amazing boys, Jensen (10) and Josiah (3), and love doing life as a family. You’ll often find them writing music, sharing deep conversations over coffee (Brian’s favorite spot is Coffee Crossing ☕), or cheering on others as they take bold steps in faith.
They hope that when people walk into Vineyard Church, they feel like they’ve just stepped into someone’s home—and more importantly, that they encounter the welcoming presence of the Holy Spirit.

OUR VALUES & BELIEFS
At Vineyard Church Southern Indiana, we’re guided by the way of Jesus, the truth of Scripture, and the power of the Holy Spirit. We value authentic community, Spirit-led worship, and a deep commitment to helping people discover their purpose in God’s Kingdom. Our heart is to live out faith in everyday life and bring hope to New Albany and beyond.
We will do anything short of sin to reach people who are far from Christ.
“For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.” -Luke 19:10
We will lead the way in irrational generosity.
Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” -Luke 6:38
Stewardship honors God and inspires people.
“Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord rather than for men,” -Colossians 3:23
We keep a culture of honor.
Show proper respect to everyone, love the family of believers, fear God, honor the emperor. -1 Peter 2:17
Faith is spelled R-I-S-K.
“...for we walk by faith, not by sight…” -2 Corinthians 5:7

investing in the next generation
We provide a safe, age-appropriate, and fun environment where kids can learn about Jesus in a way they’ll understand and enjoy.
Elementary kids join the main service for worship, and are dismissed to their classes afterward. This helps them learn to worship alongside the church family and begin to take ownership of their faith and their church from a young age.
Our youth meet during the main message for a time that’s relational, real, and rooted in Scripture, helping them explore faith in a way that connects to their everyday lives.
How We Serve Our City
From partnering with local outreach organizations to hosting community events, our church exists not just for Sunday—but for Southern Indiana. We believe Jesus is still bringing hope to the world, and He invites us to be part of that work.
